this series was inspired by the painted wood cutouts from Fairs and Attractions. I wanted to capture the nostalgia of placing our faces into the characters. the characters are fun and whimsical, and while not exactly culturally or politically correct these are characters we portray ourselves as children in playing unaware of the connotations.
